Finance Officer

We are seeking a talented Finance Officer to join our dynamic team at PT SCG Barito Logistics' in the heart of West Jakarta. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the company's financial records and ensuring timely collection of accounts receivable and accounts payable.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and process all AR / AP activities, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collection
• Liaise with customers to address any billing or payment inquiries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all AR / AP transactions
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Collaborate with the broader finance team to support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of AR / AP management

What we're looking for

• Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and account payable
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, advanced in Ms Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Sharp time management skills
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
• Fluent in English
